I was Shown an old Bible (published in 1837) by Barbara Morris Weakley the daughter of Tim C. Morris and Mary Magdaline Shiflett.  This Bible was found in the house of Tim Morris when the family was having a yard sale to help pay for the care of their father, Tim.  The Bible is in very poor shape.  There is one page that was very faded and someone outlined the faded writing in ball point pen to emphasize the words.

 

This is what was written:
Kittey Margaret Shiflett the daughter of the widow Elizabeth Shiflett was born January 8th in the year 1841.
John Benjamin Shiflett son of the widow Elizabeth Shiflett was born January the 4th in the year 1852.
Sarah Mildred Shiflett the daughter of the widow Elizabeth Shiflett was born May the 11th in the year 1854.
Ira Shiflett the son of the widow Elizabeth Shiflett was born February the 27th a day in the year 1857.

 

The next page was so badly faded and discolored I could not determine if there was anything written.

 

It appears from the writing that Elizabeth was still alive when this info was recorded.
